As 2019 is coming to a close I wanted to share with you more about my mental health journey. The intention of this episode is to provide you with actionable steps and resources that will help you level up your mental wellness as we embark on a new year.

This is part two of our three part series were I am coming to you solo, sharing my personal story of battling with depression and anxiety. We talk about how I was able to overcome this struggle that was threatening every aspect of my life.

You will hear how “I found hope” in my psychiatrist’s office and how important it is to find the right therapist for you. I also share what I wish I would have done differently from the beginning when choosing a therapist and why I believe now more than ever that physical health is so important to our mental and emotional health.

I walk you through step by step my journey and how it evolved from simply seeking therapy to adding in tools like yoga, meditation, and community. I hope this episode encourages you to “find the right cocktail” that works for you and what you are going through. We are all so unique and so as I share my personal experience I encourage you to fight for your own story.

We are here if you need anything. Whether it is a question about an  episode or if you simply need a community who understands what you are going through, find us in our private Facebook group Hope to Recharge, because together is always better!
