In this week’s Attitude of Gratitude, I wanted to do something a little bit different. Over the past couple of weeks, we have been talking about finding gratitude in things or situationsthat we have in our lives. In today’s episode, I wanted to talk about being grateful for PEOPLE. Specifically, those who do very small, seemingly insignificant acts of kindness or service for us.

I learned about the importance of this form of gratitude from one of my friends who taught me about always being thankful and kind to everyone. He went above and beyond to help everyone feel appreciated, like the waitress at the restaurant, or the person at the checkout counter.

It is important to allow yourself to really FEEL gratitude for the small things and truly SEE the good that others are doing for us. This doesn’t just affect us but causes a ripple effect of positive energy which will continue to influence others. Connect with us and let us know about a small act of service that you showed gratitude for this week. Join the conversation in our Facebook group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2079694042156503/

Topics Discussed:

  • How we can use gratitude as a ripple effect.
  • Why we should give accelerated (and authentic) thanks.
  • The importance of seeing others that are not often thanked.
