Why am I talking about gratitude? Why is my tone so upbeat? When there is so much uncertainty in the world, when so many people are afraid, I truly believe this is when gratitude is most important and key to shifting our mindset during all the uncertainty.

This doesn’t mean that the pain doesn’t exist. However when we tap into our gratitude (and there is always something to be grateful for!) it gives us a moment to disconnect from fear. Gratitude is like a blanket of comfort during the darkest of times.

Sometimes the outside world is our security. When it seems to be crumbling down, gratitude is what shifts us from a state of stress to a place of calm. Today I walk you through the good we have in our lives right now and how we can (and should) be increasing our gratitude practice.

I also wanted to share with you a story about a woman I met at Walmart and how important it is for us to show kindness and gratitude to those around us. I want to challenge you to be a light when the world seems to be in darkness. Now more than ever we need to be that light.

We would love to hear from you! Find us in our private Facebook group, Hope to Recharge, and let us know what you are grateful for during this time. As always, together is better!
